Well situated close to city highlights, lovely welcome by reception staff and clear instructions on where to park. Our room was well appointed, reception even brought me a kettle for tea without my requesting it. Great shower in the bathroom. Breakfast is delivered in a basket outside your door in the morning, croissant with butter ,jam and cheese, yogurt and a fruit juice.

Staff were excellent. Room was small (think European), balcony was nice, bed was comfy, and the bathroom was very efficient. The room temperature could not be controlled and the hotel was not very accommodating in trying to fix it. The breakfast was a disappointment. Usually breakfast is served in a restaurant within the hotel. Here it is served to your room in a basket. Included in breakfast was French bread with chicken pate….hardly breakfast staples. I would likely stay here again, but know that I would need to go out for breakfast.

Great hotel, wonderful location in the old town district and a short walk to the cathedral, art galleries, antique shops, clothes shops and a wonderful indoor market. Hotel has an excellent restaurant and there also plenty of other options nearby. Extremely friendly staff at every level. Very helpful reception staff and very attentive restaurant and bar staff. The room was good, the small continental breakfast basket delivered to your room in the morning was perfect and more than adequate to set us up for the day. Can't recommend highly enough.

Had a fantastic 5-night stay here while visiting Montréal for the eclipse. Hotel is perfectly located on a quiet street in Old Montréal and there are lots of fantastic restaurants, bars and independent shops nearby. Room was great and we loved our delicious breakfast which was delivered to our room every morning. We didn’t visit the hotel restaurant but it looked charming. All the staff were wonderful and so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay if back in this lovely, super-friendly city.

Easy taxi to the hotel from YUL airport. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Lucie, who was just adorable, helpful and friendly. She asked if we'd like a glass of Prosecco upon check-in, yes please! What a lovely way to start our 6 night stay. Then came the the petit dejeuner every morning, croissant/roll, a MADELEINE that we looked forward to the most, juice, cheese, jam, coffee/tea using the Keurig machine in the room. The basket of goodies was hung on a hook outside your room, no knocking from staff or having to go downstairs. You could mosey down to the lobby and help yourself to fresh drip coffee, cream and sugar if you liked. Location was everything. Old Montreal, close to all. A quick taxi ride to other parts of the city when needed. Price point was just right. Our room had a view of the Basilica, #203, and was quiet and perfectly appointed. Great shower with wand AND rain fall option. Room seemingly updated recently. Now for the staff, Lucie, as mentioned above, then Georges, restaurant manager was a gem and so lovely and Theo one of the bartenders. FAB! We loved them all and considered ourselves family. Every ask was granted politely and professionally. Thank you all at Hotel Bonaparte!
